Even a year after the devastating disaster in northeastern Japan, the Japanese entertainment industry continues to rally together for the relief effort. The latest effort is the JAPAN UNITED with MUSIC prject, founded by enowned pianist Sakamoto Ryuichi and music producer Kobayashi Takeshi (also the founder of charity project Bank Band). The new charity project features 30 Japanese music stars, including M-Flo's Verbal, Superfly, Luna Sea guitarist Sugizo, A.I., Yellow Music Orchestra, Crystal Kay, EXILE's Atsushi and Takahiro, Bonnie Pink and Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. Together, these stars are covering The Beatles' All You Need is Love, which is produced by Sakamoto and Kobayashi. All profits from the single will go to the rebuilding efforts in northeastern Japan.
