A taxi driver who is also a "key holder" mysteriously lost a bunch of taxi keys, 43 keys in all. 63 year old taxi driver Mak was asked by the company to distribute the keys to the taxi drivers every morning. At 8 am yesterday morning, he put the 43 keys inside a rucksack, and then drove to Sham Shui Po Yee Kuk Street. He was going to have the taxi washed before giving out those keys.
Mak went in one of the shops to use the toilet, but on his return after 5 minutes, he found out the passenger door of the taxi was open. The rucksack in which he put the keys were gone. He called the police immediately. According to Mak, apart from the missing keys, there was an account book, a cell phone, some documents and $200 cash. When the police arrived, they took down done some finger prints. Initial investigation suggests that while Mak went to toilet, the thief broke the door open and stole the rucksack. The police are still investigating the case.
