Leessang releases MV for “Someday” and 8th album ‘Unplugged’
Hip hop duo Leessang has unveiled their 8th full length album, ‘Unplugged‘ along with the music video for their title track “Someday“!
Their 8th album was created in celebration of their 10 year anniversary and has been in the works for the past three years.
Before the release of their album, Leessang revealed two of their songs “Humility is Hard” and “My Love” which have both climbed the charts with release, demonstrating Leessang’s appeal to a wide range of audience.
Their title track “Someday” marks the duo’s first rock ballad. With the teaser video featuring Yoon Do Hyun already having been released, anticipation has been rising for the full version.
Having released their album, Leessang will be launching ‘Leesang Theater Season 2‘ at the Olympic Hall on July 14th and 15th.

Leessang establishes the ‘Leessang Company’
Hip-hop duo Leessang have put their name on the line to establish their very own entertainment company.
They stated on May 22, “We have developed ‘Leessang Company‘, a business of various content with the goal of professional entertainment in mind.”
Leessang has led their own path to pursue the kind of music they’ve wanted to create, spending a long time as “no-name” artists. Their hard work and dedication have paid off as they made their music into mainstream music.
They continued, “Truth is, the key to an artist’s longevity is concerts where they can effectively communicate with the audience… We think’s its only natural for an artist to be directing their own show and to be extremely involved in the planning process. Our dream is to begin studying the culture of performance, and show you performances that are characteristic of our group and brand.”
“The reality is that Korean artists are unable to show the audience many different things because the stage systems in Korea are inadequate. We hope that as we take a step forward, we will help artists put on performances of higher quality in a better environment.”
Leessang has recruited a famous directing team in preparation for Leessang Company and their planned world tour. They have also teamed up with experienced members of the entertainment industry in order to better plan and produce future performances.
The duo will be maintaining a management relationship with their current long-time company, Jungle Entertainment. Leessang Company will work as a music business partner with Jungle Entertainment, planning performances and educating each other on their areas of expertise.
