Lady Gaga is hosting a concert in Hong Kong in May. Already people are going crazy trying to obtain tickets. Scalpers and a group of South Asian gang have increased their "business" a week early to get the tickets. People have lined up in many ticket offices. Yesterday early hour in the morning outside Tuen Mun Tom Lee music store, a fight broke out between three scalpers and the police. Three men were lining up outside the music store at around 12 midnight. When the police approached them as they suspected they are scalpers, they verbally abused the police and a fight broke out, injuring 4 police officers. The scalpers were later arrested. It is circulated in the internet that people are selling up to 5 times for a ticket in the black market. Some netizens are asking for $10,000 for a ticket. The police are stepping up their alert to watch out for the scalpers.

Lady Gaga will be performing in AsiaWorld-Expo in May 2nd and 3rd. Ticket sale starts on Monday 27th, price of a ticket is $480, $780, &1,280 and $1,580. People are already lining up in many of the sales office from Feb 21st. The police have received report that many scalpers appeared in the queue and some gang even pay the pensioners and some south asian people $100 each to line up for them. It is envisaged that they can then sell the ticket up to 4, 5 times its face value.

At around 3am yesterday morning, There were around 40 people lining up outside Tuen Mun Tom Lee Music Store. Some stools were being put at the end of line by some people to reserve a place. The security guards and the police were taking extra precaution to maintain order. Three guys appeared at the end of line and started kicking away some plastic stools and pushed away some people at the top of the line. A police officer tried to stop them but they were very abusive towards the policeman, an argument broke out between them. The policeman tried to control one man, but his friend shouted "police are hitting people". The policeman then said to him "Have you got an ID?" , but the guy pretended he didn't hear it. The police were trying to make the arrest but met with retaliation. In the chaos, four police officers were injured, and three people were arrested for disorderly in public places and failure to produce their ID.
