Since her runaway victory in the second season of TVB's singing contest show The Voice, Mag Lam has been regarded as a diva in the making. With the strong backing of the TV station and entertainment giant EEG, the fledgling singer is finally releasing her highly anticipated debut solo album titled Vocalist. She sings about the extreme despair of a jilted lover in the lead single "Bathing" (Track 5) written by Eric Kwok and Riley Lam, and the song is a top hit on all the major Hong Kong pop charts. Other main cuts on the album include "Guest Starring" (Track 1) featuring Mag's fellow alumni from The Voice 2, and the insurance company CM song "Extraordinary" (Track 9).
