Zhang Ziyi’s new romance revealed

Ever since she broke up with her Israeli boyfriend Vivi Nevo two years ago, ongoing rumours claimed that Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi got back with old flame Huo Qi Shan.

However, it was recently revealed that the 33-year-old had been dating Chinese host Sa Bei Ning since last September, after the couple was spotted on a date at the Kaiping Forest Park together. They were there with Ziyi's elder brother and sister-in-law.

Bei Ning also became Ziyi's 'personal chauffeur' and shuttled the actress between her hotel and the filming location of her upcoming movie The Grandmasters.

It is believed that Ziyi and Bei Ning met on the set of the latter's programme We Are Competent in May last year. It was love at first sight for Bei Ning, and he courted her actively. They became a couple four months later.

However, other sources claimed that during Ziyi's birthday celebration in February, Bei Ning had turned up at the party, gave the actress a kiss and that his talent and humour won Ziyi over.
