′Yeosu Expo′ Robots Dance to 2PM, BEG and SUJU

by CJ E&M enewsWorld Grace Danbi Hong

If K-Pop singers ever get tired, it seems that robots can take over their spots.

An online video of a group of robots dancing to various popular K-Pop songs has gone viral, not only highlighting the advancement of technology but also the growing popularity of K-Pop music.

Opened on May 11, The 2012 Yeosu Expo expressed its desires "to create harmony between the earth, ocean, and global ecosystems,” as said on its official websites. One of its goals was to use advanced technology to improve the ecosystem and better the future for the children.

Engineers from the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd (DSME) decided that with that same technology, they can also create entertainment, like making robots dance to K-Pop.

In the video, a group of robots danced to the original choreography of various hits, such as 2PM’s Again and Again, Brown Eyed GirlsAbracadabra, and Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry.

The DSME Marine Robot Pavillion will be open to the public until the Expo ends on August 12.

Check out some robotic dancing below!
