source: sun translated by cici@Asianeu Woman sitting on racks attempt by jumping off a building, firemen are trying to persuade. ![]() Yesterday, a woman suffering from leukemia, sitting on clothes rack, attempted to jump from her home on the 38th Floor in Shek Kip Mei Estate, but Fortunately her niece found out and she called the Police. Fire officers arrived and saved her eventually. Woman had last name Fong (25 years old) living with her family in Shek Kip Mei Estate. Fong suffered leukemia and needed to receive regular treatment, resulting in having a weak physical health with pain. Four o'clock yesterday afternoon, as when Fong's family were not at home, Fong climbing out of a window sat on the clothes rack with feet dangling in air, during which Fong's niece found out and she called the police. Fire officers immediately engaged in negotiation once they arrived, and they opened a rescue cushion on the ground. In the 10 minutes confrontation, fire officers headed to catch Fong when she wasn't looking, and before long, they single-handedly saved her into the house. After the rescue, Fong had wrist pain thus she was sent to a hospital. Fong later disclosed to police that she attempted suicide due to pain from illness. -------------------- Once a week news update
