Translated by: R.E.D @ http://asianuniverse.net/forums/ ![]() ![]() ![]() A woman's body was found inside a suitcase by two swimmers on Wednesday morning. The suitcase was seen floating on the sea front across Hung Hom harbor. Police said the woman, who was dressed only in her underwear, was found without any identification documents. Investigators believe she was an Asian woman aged between 20 and 40, and had been dead between four and seven days. "We will carry out a post-mortem examination to ascertain the cause of death and her identity," a police spokesman said. One of the two swimmers who made the grim find told the South China Morning Post daily they pulled the light blue suitcase to shore due to a strong foul smell and called the police after they saw hair spilling out of the suitcase. The suitcase was 90 centimetres long (35 inches), 60 centimetres in width and 30 centimetres tall, according to the report. The police fear that the body could be the missing person named Chung Ka Yee, who was reported missing in January 2012. Chung came to Hong Kong six years ago from the mainland. Kowloon East Regional Crime unit will be following the case. Don't Forget to click the "THANKS" button This post has been edited by R.E.D: Apr 5 2012, 01:16 PM |
