Waa Wei 魏如萱 - No Crying 不允許哭泣的場合 (2011)

In 2010, Waa Wei's Graceful Porcupine was named one of the year's ten best albums by the Association of Music Workers in Taiwan. This year, after the spring EP Where, the acclaimed Taiwan indie singer-songwriter would bring listeners her third solo album No Crying. This time, she again worked with famous composer/arranger Chen Chien Chi and many other eminent artists. Singer Summer Lei wrote "We", while "Seduce" features poet Hsia Yu reciting her poem. The Marshmallow Kisses's Peter and the Hunger Artist's Oliver contributed to the arrangements on "Once" and "Bare Naked", respectively. Waa herself attempted arrangement for the first time on the closing track Wu.

2011年 秋天劇場配樂／編曲名家陳建騏要再次讓我們聽見更廣角的魏如萱「不允許哭泣的場合」，新專輯的封面拍攝也特 地找來波蘭攝影師Lukasz Wierzbowski，給魏如萱增添了似華沙美人魚那般勇敢卻又奇異的溫柔氣味。視覺則由目前正在倫敦大 學修習藝術創作也是充滿神祕感的 waterfall瀑布雜誌主編小8來統籌，或許魏如萱的every teardrop能像coldplay般懾人心魄。
