Translated by: R.E.D @ http://asianuniverse.net/forums/ ![]() ![]() Nickname "book worm" who calls himself an "unemployed accountant" was caught stealing women's underwear last sunday (Father's day). 32 year old Leung stole 50 female's underwear including knickers and bras from a shop in Mongkok. He pleaded guilty and is on bail till August 16. He will be sentenced after his psychology assessment report. At around 5pm on June 17, a customer saw Leung in the female's clothing section putting sets of bras and knickers into the blue shopping bag twice and went to a dark corner afterwards. She also noticed when Leung came back again, his blue shopping bag was empty when he left the shop. Half an hour later, he appeared in the shop and started stealing again. The same customer recognized him and she informed the security guard, Leung was caught outside the shop with the stolen goods inside his own environmental bag. Leung admitted stealing women's underwear from a shop in Portland street called "COTTON ON fashion" on June 17 this year. The underwear he stole included 31 pairs of bra, 23 knickers and a pair of thighs, total cost of $5,280HKD. Leung had a record of stealing last year and he was sentenced to a community service order. His defense lawyer said that Leung has been studying very hard as a student . He went to The University of British Columbia in Canada to study and graduated with distinction in accounting. After he returned to Hong Kong, he won the top prize for an open competition for "accounting design". Leung is an introvert and he has not got many friends. After he committed the theft, he knew he was wrong and he told his family that he is willing to seek medical help. Court adjourns till August 16.
