Seven-year-old Sang Woo (Yoo Seung Ho) is dropped off by his mother at his grandparent's home in the country-side during the summer vacation. The little boy has to get used to his new living environment, which is totally different from that in the city. His grandmother is deaf and mute and the village she lives in, even though free from any manmade pollutions, does not have any bus connections. After Sang-woo's pocket video game runs out of batteries, he has no alternative but to communicate with his grandmother. At first they hardly get along at all, but as time goes by the boy learns to accept and appreciate his grandparent.
It was the second-highest grossing local film in South Korea in 2002.

Watched it a couple of years back...it's really a touching movie and you will really hate the little boy for being so rude to his grandmother in the begining...
but towards the end, they built a really special relationship and he carn bear to leave his grandmother behind when it was time for him to go...really touching
