Plot
Set in the early 1970's, high school student Ji-Sook, whose grades are the top scores at the schoo, lives with her mom Young-Choon. Her mom runs the small old style bar "Young-Choon Ok". In order to raise Ji-Sook by herself, Young-Choon sells alcohol and sings. Her life is always difficult and hard. Ji-Sook does not like her mom because she feels her mother is superficial. To get away from her mother and poverty, Ji-Sook dedicates herself to her studies and to achieve success.

A customer of "Young-Choon Ok," Company President Baek, is the richest guy in the town and also well known for only having daughters. One day, he weeps about his situation and not having any sons. He then makes a discreet proposition to Young-Choon who has feelings for him. Meanwhile, shady people come to Young-Choon and the mood inside of "Young-Choon Ok" gets wired ...
