TVXQ’s new Japanese single “Still” sells over 100,000 copies in 2 days

TVXQ‘s new Japanese single has sold over 100,000 copies within 2 days of it’s release.

On March 14th, TVXQ released their new Japanese single “Still“. The album sold 84,029 copies on the first day and sold an additional 25,183 copies the next, recording a total of 109,212 sales, causing them to climb to the top of Oricon’s daily chart.

Their new title song “Still” is a medium-tempoed ballad track, and fans will get to see a new side of the boys as they will be primarily focusing on powerful performances for their new promotions.

The single is already receiving a positive response as it was introduced for the first time at their Japanese tour which kicked off earlier this year. Additional track “One More Thing” is also a big hit with the fans, being selected as the theme song to Bee TV‘s drama ‘Let M The Reason I Love You, Other Stories‘.

In related news, the boys’ Japanese tour which thus far rallied a total of 550,000 fans is currently in full swing.

TVXQ’s “Still” chosen as the CM song for ‘Glico’ ice cream

In addition to selling over 100,000 copies within just two days, and topping the Oricon chart, TVXQ‘s latest song, “Still”, has recently been announced as the CM song for ‘Glico’ brand ice cream!

The boys also participated in the filming of the advertisement, which will be unveiled on March 19th.

In the meantime, Glico has released a making-of video with a special introduction from the boys themselves, to heighten the anticipation for the release of the ad.
