Theatre actor KUN SIU-NAM (Adam Cheng) has undergone a drastic personality change after his daughter’s protracted disappearance, eventually leading to his bitter divorce from MOK LAI-HING (Chan Sau Chu). Utterly absorbed in his theatre work, SIU-NAM all of a sudden finds himself embroiled in a recent spate of serial killings after playing the role of an evil murderer. Through his colleague LEE CHOR-KIU (Maggie Shiu), SIU-NAM gets to know her boyfriend CHEUNG SAI-YIN (Moses Chan) and his younger sister CHEUNG SAI-TING (Aimee Chan). In all his dealings with SAI-YIN, SIU-NAM has noticed an uncanny resemblance between the man and the suspected murderer. And the strange feeling that he gets from SAI-TING has added even more complications to his relationship with CHOR-KIU and the CHEUNGs. Spoiler:
Episode 30:
Character: Kan Siu Nam (Adam Cheng)
Monologue: Let me tell you again from beginning to end. Besides promising you that the whole journey will be peaceful, I can also rush onto your fleet, Ariel, please do me this favor. In the future, you can freely soar in the sky, whereas my spiritual chains have already been released. God can blow me a breeze, allowing our boat to sail as fast as possible. Please have mercy God as you already have pardon the faults of all people. Your sins, no one can investigate into, you are lenient and can give me freedom.

Episode 29:
Character: Kan Siu Nam (Adam Cheng)
Monologue: If being sober can cause pain, then why not just let the person stay within their dreams? If the purpose of survival is already gone, then why can't it be found in dreams? If dreams is a world full of hopes, then why do I have to wake up?

Episode 28
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan)
Monologue: I once thought I would feel guilty for life on the wrong things I've done, but I'm wrong. I forgot humans do get tired, guilt is the most tiring for humans. Enough thinking for me.

Episode 27
Character: Cheung Sai Ting / Kan Chi Ying (Aimee Chan)
Monologue: Lying is like drinking, when you are used to drinking, you feel like your floating and wish to keep on being drunk; When you believe in a lie, you will no longer want to learn the truth, rather you want to be deceived on.

Episode 26
Character: Kan Siu Nam (Adam Cheng)
Monologue: Bias is part of human nature. Because of this reason, it is impossible for our judgement on situations or people to ever have justice or fairness. Good and evil; Black and white, who can make an accurate judgement?

Episode 25
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan)
Monologue: In between black and white, there must be gray. Gray is much broader than black or white, and even more tolerant. The majority of us are living in it, so nobody can be a good or bad person forever, that is life. It is the life of you and I.

Episode 24:
Character: Lee Chor Kiu (Maggie Siu)
Monologue: Inside each individual's heart has one face after another, so the mask on the individual's face may not be fake, so what is the mask I have on now? Is this the real me? Why do I have this look inside my heart?

Episode 23:
Character: Lee Chor Kiu (Maggie Siu)
Monologue: Humans are natural born omnivores. Each have their own cooking skills; the norm is to consume meals on the dinner table, but all of this is just to conceal a fault. We have to forget food was originally living as well, but if we don't fill ourselves up, we can't survive. Then why do we have to go and control others lives?

Episode 22:
Character: Lee Chor Kiu (Maggie Siu)
Monologue: The most important in life is to value love. Scarifice is the greatest form of scarifice, just because someone is willing to scarifice his/her own life for someone else, love, then can pass on.

Episode 21
Character: Lee Chor Yee (Maggie Siu)
Monologue: In the animal world, the best at camouflage are octopuses, even more fierce than chameleons, but they still cannot compare to the human race. Humans can hide their true nature just for benefits, and eventually can't even recognize themselves. This skill of burying one's conscience, can other animals do the same?

Episode 20
Character: Kan Siu Nam (Adam Cheng)
Monologue: I hoped before that my daughter in my dreams will appear before my eyes and live with me in reality. Now she has left my dreams, but I feel that this dream is too realistic. I'm starting to feel skeptical about strange and obscure, when is it a dream and when is it real life?

Episode 19:
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan)
Monologue: In this world, is truth or false really that important? Concealing faults was basically part of human nature. Truth or False, who will go distinguish? If some things you never know the truth to, then you will never be hurt, so the truth or false in this world, it's basically not important.

Episode 18:
Character: Kan Siu Nam (Adam Cheng)
Monologue: To spy on a person's inner world is just like taking a risky vacation because no matter how friendly the person may be, deep down inside, it is still pitch black.

Episode 17:
Character: Lee Chor Kiu (Maggie Siu)
Monologue: I see fire, first burning each and every house in the forest. Watching the flames, I wish I was rain, capable of putting out the fire, but the helpless me is just fog, watching the fire burn on, wiping out the entire forest.

Episode 16:
Character: Cheung Sai Ting (Aimee Chan): The world's most disappointing is when you think you really understand someone, but one day, you realize you actually never knew him;
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan): What's even more disappointing is when you realize the person you never understood is in fact yourself.

Episode 15:
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan)
Monologue: There is a saying called "best laid plans", the person says this because he just doesn't have confidence on his ability to do things. I just believe "man can conquer nature". How can there not be a down time in life? Just as long as you can cope with the steady predicament, then you will never be defeated and definitely can recover from the predicament.

Episode 14:
Character: Gan Siu Nam (Adam Cheng)
Monologue: In the past many years, many people have urged me to give up and life would be a lot better. In principle, I understand, but can I be able to do it easily? I am one person that could let go of my stubbornness and the whole world would be living better. After so many years, is what I'm doing right or wrong?

Episode 13:
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan)
Monologue: When there is faith, there is hope; When there is hope, then dreams come true. Do you believe in this? Do you know the greater the expectations, the deeper the disappointment? If people in this world just had hopes, then dreams would come true, there where did the pain come from?

Episode 12:
Character: Lee Chor Kiu (Maggie Siu)
Monologue: A woman trying to display her strong nature often hides her unhappiness. In fact, to be able to face her own weaknesses, is perhaps what makes her strong.

Episode 11:
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan)
Monologue: This world isn't as perfect as you and I imagine. It is precisely made up of a pile of lies, one lie after another. If I believe in one of these lies, then I would feel good, but it just means I'm lying to myself for life or perhaps this is also a type of happiness.

Episode 10:
Character: Cheung Sai Ting (Aimee Chan)
Monologue: There is an area in every individual's heart that nobody can touch. This is what is known to us as a secret. Under the consciousness of self-defense, secrets repress emotions, [create] distortion, or become forgotten. But when this consciousness falls apart, the person's emotions will change, jealousy, perseverance, violence, everything will start getting out of control.

Episode 09:
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan)
Monologue: Everyone wants to be a good person, but just how many can actually do it? Why is it that every time I decide to do a good deed and make up for something I did wrong in the past, the Heaven always uses different methods to tell me, regardless of what I do, it is all useless.

Episode 08:
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan)
Monologue: In this world, good people may not necessarily be rewarded; bad people may not receive retribution, but people still believe in fate. People often say, "don't rely on Heaven, rely on yourself", that's how there is hope, but if this hope is fake, then this so-called hope never should have existed, then there won't be disappointment.

Episode 07:
Character: Lee Chor Kiu (Maggie Siu)
Monologue: Love can complete a person, sounds like an old-fashioned saying, but when you have your mind set on the person besides you as your other half, seeing the world in this kind of way is what's perfect.

Episode 06:
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan)
Monologue: Some people do eveything they can to avoid some kind of fate; Some people attempt to seek redemption, but fate is absolutely not a gain or loss for people because the Heaven loves to use fate as a joke on humans.

Episode 05:
Character: Eric (Kenny Wong)
Monologue: If there really is Karma in this world, then I believe its ashes to ashes and dust to dust. This world was basically something created out of nothing. Murder is just the process from return to having nothing. I hear lyrics in my mind that goes like: "Each man kills the thing he loves, dadada dadadada..."

Episode 04:
Character: Kan Siu Nam (Adam Cheng)
Monologue: Time can dilute everything, but if you miss someone, that profound time just can't be diluted. As that person is the most blessed person in this world, but you...are the most grieved person.

Episode 03:
Character: Cheung Sai Ting (Aimee Chan)
Monologue: People say flowers cannot be grown in the desert, but in this world, there are still people who insists, irrigate and believe its possible because the reason flowers bloom is not really about if there is water or not, rather it is about if you have the persistent belief.

Episode 02:
Character: Cheung Sai Yin (Moses Chan)
Monologue: I don't know nor do I want to care if murder is right or not. I just know that if I don't eliminate the dirty things, I cannot live a clean life.

Episode 01:
Character: Sum Chi Chung (Tsui Wing)
Monologue: "Blessing in Disguise" is just nonsense used by some people who want to escape reality. Lost is lost. The things lost will never come back. Heaven won't give you special treatment just because you lost something important.
