Synopsis
As a Senior Inspector of the Narcotics Bureau Operation Unit, HEUNG WING (Miu Kiu Wai) profoundly abhors evil. He and WAI SAI-LOK (Raymond Lam) - Senior Inspector of the Intelligence Unit have closely co-operated with each other as peer mentors, frequently solving drug trafficking cases for the Police Force. During an operation to knock down the targets, SAI-LOK discovers clues that HEUNG WING is most likely the corrupt cop in a collusion conspiracy with drug dealers. Apart from launching a secret investigation into HEUNG WING, SAI-LOK is also alienated from him by the evil-willed Chief Inspector of the Operation Unit - PUN HOK-LAI (Ben Wong). Having undergone various disputes against each other, the long-term brotherly relationship between SAI-LOK and HEUNG WING appears full of contradictions.

On the other hand, following an investigation, SAI-LOK falls in love with a snitch – CHAN KA-PIK (Kate Tsui), who suffers from low self-esteem due to her humble beginning. Deliberately denying her affection to SAI-LOK, KA-PIK gives up on him so that his secret admirer - KO HEI-SUEN (Ella Koon), a rookie police officer, can have the chance, leading to a subtle relationship among the three. Feeling life is so dreary, KA-PIK ultimately digs her own grave by becoming a new generation of drug dealer, involved in drug trafficking and provoking the Police Force. With intense sorrow, SAI-LOK then joins forces with HEUNG WING against KA-PIK, waging a chain of bitter battles.

- Michael is Heung Sir, a SIP (Senior Inspector) in the Anti-Triad Squad of NB, but he's actually a triad mole ('black cop').
- Ben is Chief Inspector in the Anti-Triad Squad. He first pursues Ella Koon, but later pretends to pursue Kate. He's always directing against Raymond.
- Raymond is Happy Sir (nicknamed "Lok Snake"), a CIB Senior Inspector in NB. He pursues Kate, and later she becomes his girlfriend.
- Raymond and Ben are rivals in both work and love.
- Ella is Madam Kou (nicknamed "Fit Ma Madam") a CIB inspector, has a crush on Raymond.

- Elaine is Madam Chao, the superintendent of the Financial Investigation Bureau. She is Michael's ex-wife.
- Kate is a bar fist gamer, later drug dealer. She has hypothermia and will lose consciousness in low temperature environments. Ben pretends to pursue her and lures her into trugs. She later becomes Raymond's spy, then Ben's spy and finally back to being Raymond's spy.
- MC Jin is Kate' sidekick, has a crush on her. In the end, he dies because he was trying to rescue Kate.
- Eileen Yeow is the big female boss in the triad. She's Michael ex-girlfriend and a good friend of Kate.

Production
A trailer for the TVB 2012 Sales Presentation trailer was shot earlier during October 2011 [1] and the Sales Presentation was aired on 17 December 2011. The trailer featured Roger Kwok, Michael Miu, Kevin Cheng, Kate Tsui and Joyce Tang. Kwok played a triad mole sent to Narcotics Bureau (NB), Miu played an undercover cop from NB, Cheng played an NB officer, Tsui played a pregnant drug dealer and Tang played Miu's wife. [2] Kwok, Cheng and Tang were not able to film the drama and new cast members Elaine Ng, Raymond Lam and Ella Koon were added.
