SYNOPSIS

Beautiful Boxer is based on the true story of famed transgender thai boxing champion, Nong Toom. The film begins with sensational verve as the gorgeously dressed protagonist suddenly appears to beat the crap out of thugs bullying a reporter to whom she then commences to narrate her life story. Things crank up from there as Nong Toom's career is retraced from a childhood in a Buddhist monastery to a series of action-packed bouts fought with full make-up.
