Student Summoned to Court For Hitting His Teacher

A Form 3 student from Kwai Chung's Ju Ching Chu Secondary School have pleaded guilty of hitting his teacher because he was unhappy with the teacher punishing him for discipline problems . The next court case hearing will be scheduled on the 3rd of September.

Meanwhile,the Form 3 Student will be kept in the Juvenile Detention Centre.

The Teacher has Fell on Ground after 2 punches

The accused Lam Kai Wai (Aged 16) was charged with 1 count of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm. According to information from the court hearing,the student was seperated from his classroom and being asked to go into another classroom because he was inattentive in class. In the other classroom,the suspect punched the teacher suddenly after the teacher asked him to stand at the corner. The suspect gave 2 punches at the teacher's face and right eyes,after which,the teacher fell onto the ground. The hospital has confirmed that the teacher was injured on the head,it was fortunate that the eyes were not damaged.

While the defendant lawyer is pleading guilty on behalf of the suspect,he pointed out that the plaintiff has fully recovered from the assualt. He also says that the accused has assualted the plaintiff because the teacher spoke in a provoking manner. He plead the judge to be lenient on the sentence as the student will be studying a technician's course at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education next month.
