Solo artists hold their ground on music charts

In a music industry over flooded with idol groups, it’s nice to see that solo artists are still able to hold their own ground.

Solo artists who have made their comebacks recently, were seen making their mark on various music charts this month.

One of these artists is Se7en, who has made his Korean comeback after one year and six months with a new mini album. His title track, “When I Can’t Sing”, has been proving to be quite popular as it has ranked #1 on real time and daily charts.

Lyn is another talented solo artist who has been ranking in the top lately with her new song, “Back In Time”, from the ‘Moon That Embraces The Sun’ OST. She was seen ranked #2 on MelOn and Mnet, right behind Se7en.

Trailing right behind the two is powerful vocalist, K.Will, who has made his much anticipated comeback after a year with “I Hate Myself”, and has established himself as a force to be reckoned with.

Other solo artists making their mark on the music charts lately are SISTAR’s Hyorin with her remake “I Will Love You”, J.Y. Park with “Falling” (‘Dream High 2′ OST), IU with “You & I”, Wheesung with “Tearful Road”, and Brown Eyed Girls’ Miryo with “Dirty”.
