'Slow Boat Home' TV Ratings Big Victory Over 'Beauty At War'

TVB new series Slow Boat Home is the current lead on the TV ratings. The premiere averaged 26 points and last night's episode 2 averaged 27 points. Beauty At War only got an average of 20 points, which is 1 point increase from the previous night. Some viewers have said after watching the 8:30PM Slow Boat Home, they turned off the TV and didn't continue with Beauty At War. The two series have a 7 point gap, that's a difference of 450,000 viewers! Raymond Wong thanked the audience on Weibo for supporting his series and took his family out to celebrate the success with Kent Cheng.

Slow Boat Home is a light-hearted and relaxing series. Last night's episode had a scene with 'Cheung Bo Jai' (Raymond Wong) tripping and accidentally kissed 'Gold Hair Ling' (Lee Yee Man); There is also a sweet kiss scene between Ruco Chan and Selena Li. It seems like there are still room for continual rise of the TV ratings.
