Richard Chang said to have met drama director

Last week, Taiwanese pop starlet Selina Jen's fiancé Richard Chang posted a 1,500-word essay on his microblog, demanding an apology from Chen Ming Zhang, the director of drama I Have a Date with Spring.

Ever since Selina was severely injured in an on-set accident when she was filming the drama last October, the director had kept a low profile. Recently, Chen was spotted going for a party held at Taiwanese actress Joe Chen's house.

Yesterday, it was said that Chen finally met up with Richard as he could not take the pressure from the public.

When Father Jen was asked about the supposed meeting, he replied "thank you, thank you", and did not refute the report.

However, when reporters called Richard to check, the lawyer said, "[We've] never met. I'm waiting for good news. I'm quietly waiting for him to call or meet me."

It is believed that Joe came under fire for inviting Chen to her birthday party. Yesterday, the actress explained through her manager that she had invited the director because they had worked together on several dramas.

Joe added that she felt sorry for Selina, but felt it was not her place to comment.
