Raymond Lam Labelled as an "Office Lady (OL) Killer"

Speaking of "sister-brother" relationships, Hong Kong TVB's promoted siu sang Raymond Lam says that it is a blessing for men.

When Raymond Lam heard that his character in the series La Femme Desperado has caused him to be dubbed as an “OL (Office Lady) Killer," he appeared to be a bit surprised as he said, "Really? Actually, my biggest benefit from that series was having successfully changed my image. In the past I starred in ancient series more, I've had enough of wearing wigs already! After acting in La Femme Desperado, I still haven’t received any ancient series."

In La Femme Desperado, Raymond Lam revolves in a "sister-brother" relationship between Melissa Ng and Sheren Tang. How does he see a "sister-brother" relationship in real life? Raymond Lam said, "That is a blessing for men, but the difference in the ages shouldn't be too big. When a man is in his 20s, and still doesn't know how to take care of himself, he will be able to accept this relationship, but once he reaches his 30s, he will no longer hope for a "sister-brother" relationship, he won't think that much about it."

Reflecting on the series that aired in 2006, Raymond Lam said, "There was Yummy Yummy, La Femme Desperado, I filmed a lot of series this year. Hopefully, next year I'll see my series, such as The Master of Tai Chi, Heart of Greed, airing on TV. My character in Heart of Greed is someone who "steps on two boats at the one time," I'm in a relationship with Yoyo Mung and Linda Chung. This type of action isn't something that I agree with, so from the start it was difficult to play, it was a challenge."

Asking what are Raymond Lam's views on love? He said, "If you are able to date then you're blessed, because I have no time. And also, it's very frightening in Hong Kong. No matter if you're with someone of the same or opposite gender, there will be topics of discussion, so no one is brave enough to have dinner with me, I just stay at home and eat by myself. Actually, I'm not scared, but I'm worried that the other person might be offended."

As to the rumours of Raymond and his assistant from a while ago, he said, "She's been my assistant for many years already, and is good at her job, these kinds of rumours are very silly."

Hopes to be able to become a singer that dances and sings

Currently, Raymond is filming for a sixty-episode series, The Legendary Era. Up until May of next year, he will be acting as Charmaine Sheh's boyfriend. This is their third time working together; in an earlier interview, Charmaine stated that her impression of Raymond Lam was, "the same, handsome." Asking whether she has been attracted by Raymond, she laughed and turned it around, saying, "You should be asking whether he has been attracted by me."

Raymond replied, "Of course! Does she have to ask? We've worked together a few times already, the only thing that is different is that in the past it was on an ancient series, and now this is modern."

As to whether he will release his own album next year, he said, "Continue to look forward to it! I've been wanting to become a singer for many years already, and I hope to become one that can sing and dance, because Hong Kong doesn't have that many of these types of singers."
