With the sounds of her This is Love mini album from winter still in the ears of fans, Hwayobi switches her style according to the season. Known for her R&B and ballad songs, Hwayobi invites listeners to uptempo songs on her latest mini album Summer for which she collaborated with top producer Lee Young Ki who earlier worked with Ivy and Lee Soo Young. The principal song on the release is "Rose" (Track 1), an emotional house rhythm song composed by Jun Hae Sung and arranged by Fractal. Other highlights are the mid-tempo number "Children" (Track 5), the uptempo house dance tune Pygmalion Effect, the Fractal-arranged Doori Hajana (Track 4), and the hip-hop song kiss kiss kiss composed by Hwang Sung Jae.
