Miriam & Eason: Samsung Olympic Torch Bearers

Miriam and Eason Chan attended "Samsung Olympic Torch Bearer" Nomination Press Conference and Opening Ceremony. Another ambassador Kelly Chen was in Beijing filming so she recorded a short video to be played at the event. Michael Hui, Samsung representative and Olympic Comittee Chairman was also present.

Miriam jogs every day and even hopes to challenge Eason in a marathon, but Eason rejected. Eason said, "I'm too heavy. My lower half body is already 100 pounds, not suitable for long runs." Both of them hopes to be the torch bearer. Miriam said being a torch bearer is her dream since young and she tried lighting up a newspaper and pretend to be a torch bearer during Mid Autumn Festival, but ended up being caught by the guard before she could run.

As Jacky Cheung canceled his last 2 concert shows due to throat problem, Miriam said she had problem with her voice before too and had to inject steroid, resulting in swollen face and bad health. Miriam and Eason both felt that if Jacky asked, Hong Kong Coliseum will have slots for him.
