American-born Chinese rapper MC Jin came to Hong Kong in 2008 to release his Cantonese album ABC, and has since become a major star on the local hip-hop scene, as well as a media darling with his show hosting and film/television appearances. Now, three years after his arrival, the Canto-rap wunderkind is delivering his second Cantonese album as a record of his Hong Kong experience. The songs are inspired by his thoughts and feelings in the last three years, during which he not only developed a successful career, but also became a married man. In the new album titled Homecoming, Jin raps about everything from Hong Kong's media and housewives and the lottery craze, to his newfound fame, his dream of holding concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum, and even his expectations of having kids! Highlights of the album include "No Smoking" (featuring his disciple KT) and "Wedding of the Century", a love song dedicated to his wife.
