Leila Tong Works Hard Catching up on CNY work; Sneaks In Naps During CNY

Leila Tong usually gives people an appearance that she is bright, cheery and optimistic person. This CNY, she is spending it with a “Bitter Face”. For her CNY wish, Leila expressed that she hopes to be healthy during the entire year would be enough for her. Leila expressed that she has tried singing, acting in movies and series. So she only wishes to be healthy in the New Year. Leila said: “I was really sick for an entire year! If I go to a new location/place, I would get sick. The worst time was the horrible vomiting incident! I was gravely ill one time. I had stomach aches in the middle of the night. I searched the entire house and I could only find oatmeal. I immediately cooked it to eat but I became dizzy. Then I started to vomit. The sun was rising and I still couldn’t eat! Afterwards, I was afraid of eating without discretion.”

Phillip Ng was asked about his CNY wishes. Phillip didn’t see his parents for two years since they reside in the US. So Phillip wished that he could save enough money to start a business. This was to “lure” his parents to come to Hong Kong to visit him.

Leila is busy filming the series 《盛世仁傑》. She only has a two day vacation during CNY. She joked that she needs to really use her time wisely. She said: “Besides eating meals with my family and wishing others a happy CNY, I would sleep and memorizing scripts! Even though I hate memorizing scripts but this series’ script are hard to remember and formal. So I really need to work hard at memorizing the script. I am monitoring myself to not play too much. This is to make sure I won’t break from the solemn frame of mind.”
