K-Athlete Kim Yuna featured in Time Magazine

Yuna Kim (19) isn’t just an athlete in Korea as many of you may know. With numerous CF’s, interviews and variety show appearances, the figure skating champion is considered quite a celebrity in Korea as well.

In 2009, she not only won the World Championships in figure skating, but set a new record for the highest score for females in the short program and has the highest combined total score. Last year, this young lady also shocked many of her Korean fans with her commendable singing skills in a duet with SNSD’s Taeyeon. She’s even received offers to record an album.

However, it looks like Yuna is just focusing on her training for the upcoming Olympics right now. She has been put out of the spotlight for the last month.

With high expectations and a lot of weight on her shoulders for the Olympics, Yuna has been featured in an article on Times Magazine this month entitled, “Olympic Athletes to Watch.”

Good luck to Yuna Kim at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics! Many are cheering you on, and we expect many great things to come.
