Credit: allkpop, allkpop ![]() CNBLUE member Yonghwa’s self-produced song “One Time” gets featured on American news CNBLUE is receiving attention for their song appearing on American news. The August 3rd broadcast of ‘WPSD Local 6‘ morning news covered the story of USA women gymnastics team winning the gold medal and used CNBLUE’s “One Time” as the background music. As the song was playing, the subtitles read ‘CNBLUE- One Time’ and the news anchor also introduced the song as she said,”The song playing now is CNBLUE’s ‘One Time’.” The part of the song added into the news had the lyrics of “One day I’ll show you I can be the world’s best,” which suited the story of the women gymnastics team winning the gold medal at the Olympics. Yonghwa produced “One Time” himself, and it was also used as the title song of CNBLUE’s first Japanese single ‘The Way‘ which was released back in 2010. In addition, the song had ranked 11th on Oricon’s Daily Chart at the time of its release. Yonghwa’s producing talent was acknowledged when he gifted his song “Fool” to FNC Music‘s rookie singer Juniel, and also when he gave his “Love is Only You” to the agency’s rookie girl group AOA who just debuted on July 30th. In addition, CNBLUE’s upcoming first Japanese full-length album holds 9 of Yonghwa’s self produced songs. Their 3rd mini album, ‘Ear Fun‘, released in March also held five of Yonghwa’s songs. According to FNC, Yonghwa had been consistently working on producing new songs in between his busy schedule and is currently working on producing new songs for CNBLUE’s next album. Meanwhile, CNBLUE released their third single ‘Come On‘ in Japan on August 1st. They will really buckle down and target Japan’s music scene with the release of their first Japanese full-length album ’Code Name Blue‘ on August 29th. |
