Jun Ji Hyun’s agency addresses pregnancy + retirement rumors with new wedding date

Not too long ago, actress Jun Ji Hyun‘s agency released an official statement confirming her marriage rumors to be true, but the actress has suddenly changed the date of her wedding.

J & Co. Entertainment announced through a press release on March 9th, “Due to her filming schedule for the movie ‘Berlin‘, Jun Ji Hyun has now moved up her wedding date from June 2nd to April 13th.”

“She initially wanted to have the wedding in June once her ‘Berlin’ shoot came to an end. But because of a few changes in the filming schedule and her desire to give the movie all of her focus and attention during the shoot, she has worked it out with the film company to be able to move up her wedding to mid-April,” they continued.

Jun Ji Hyun (My Sassy Girl, Il Mare) has changed her wedding date not even ten days after initially announcing her wedding plans. According to her agency, the change was due to the actress wanting to focus solely on her new project.

During a phone interview with MyDaily, J & Co. Entertainment stated, “The change in date only proves that work is a priority for her.”

By changing her wedding date, Jun Ji Hyun wanted to prove that her job as an actress was more important to her than her personal life. This also suggested that Jun Ji Hyun would continue to be active in the industry after tying the knot.

Her sudden wedding announcements left the public speculating that the actress could be pregnant (shotgun wedding). If indeed she is, this poses a problem for her new movie. It will be extremely difficult for the actress to be active until after the first trimester of her pregnancy is over, and if she is currently pregnant, that means she will most likely be unable to film ‘Berlin’.

But as the actress moved up her wedding date, Jun Ji Hyun showed an even stronger determination to complete the project, suggesting that there is no need to be concerned for her physical well-being during the shoot.
