Joyce's singing voice to send off Lydia; Jackie Cheung & Ron Ng Expresses feelings

Lydia passed away on February 19th at 8:38am. Besides close friends feeling grief, the most saddest is of course Lydia's daughter Joyce. Once the news of Lydia's death spread, many netizens left comforting messages on Joyce's blog. They hope Joyce won't be too sad and encourage her to be strong.

Thankful for Netizen's Support
February 20th at around midnight, Joyce replied to everyone on the blog. She is thankful of everyone's support. Joyce: "Thanks for your concern, I do understand all your support I will keep myself brave and strong. Thanks again." (written in english). Joyce's music recording company had Joyce sing the song 《連心》 (Connected Heart); the song was posted onto her blog. Hopes to borrow Joyce's voice to share with the world and to all parents. By having this song on Joyce's blog, it is hoped that at this special time everyone receives blessings and that Lydia would Rest in Peace.

Jackie Cheung will try his best to help Joyce
Fei Jie Lydia Shum passed away a few days ago, Jackie Cheung was Lydia's god-son and she was his god-mother. Yesterday at 3:15pm, Jackie returned to Hong Kong from Australia. Jackie who was in all black and jeans exited the gate with his assistant by his side. Jackie just completed his world tour concert, his appearance looked to have gained some weight. Yesterday it was seen he had a beard.

Jackie was asked if he knew his god-mother had passed away? He only nodded expressing he knew. He expressed his feelings towards Lydia's death, that he's feels very sad. He has kept in contact with Joyce and Florence Chan. He knows that they are very busy at the moment, but he will definitely take the opportunity and help Joyce as much as possible.

Last year Jackie held a concert, even though Lydia was sick at the time but she still appeared at the concert to support him. Earlier Jackie was really busy with his concert activities, so he did not have much time to visit Lydia, but he did keep in touch with Lydia all along. He thought if he wanted to visit Lydia, he could always at anytime. Too bad in the end, he never got the chance to see god-mother Lydia for the last time.

[Fei Jie] Lydia Sum has left this world forever. Many have left comments on her blog, and said that they willl always remember this "Happy Fruit" and Ron Ng had sent a message to Joyce saying that she has to work hard to face the future without her mother.

Ron Ng said : "Even though i have never worked with Fei Jie, the last time i saw her was at the Anniversary. After seeing how skinny she had become, i was very hurt. As a colleague of Lydia, it is definetly very sad to see her like this. I hope Joyce will continue to be strong, because she has a long road ahead of her, so she can continue the great work her mother had done in the past."
