Hyori rejects lovecalls to advance into American market

It has been revealed that top star Lee Hyori has received lovecalls to advance into the American market but had refused the offers.

The reason is that there are plans for Hyori to venture overseas. Mnet revealed, “We are currently working on Hyori moving to other Asian markets like China, Taiwan, HongKong etc. We may also be looking at Japan.”

“The idea of Hyori moving to other overseas is as welcoming as moving to America. But we saw more of a need for careful consideration for advancing into America. Also Hyori will need a long term plan into her overseas advancement. Hence this is what we see as feasible.”

Hyori has always been one of the top entertainers in Korea in 10 years of her debut. But her overseas activities have also been lacking, and seeing the several stars like Se7en and BoA venturing into America, there has been a lot of interests into whether Hyori will follow so.

Hyori will release a full length album in the later half of this year.
