Housewife died while cleaning the roof

A woman met with an accident while cleaning the roof balcony of her house yesterday. It was suspected that the woman was being tripped by the television antenna and caused her to fell down from her 8 storey building. She landed on the back of a car and bounced onto the ground. She died instantly.

The deceased was surnamed Tong (Aged 44),she is the mother of a son and a daughter. She stayed in one of To Kwa Wan's Yu Yan Street's apartment. Her daughter is married is staying with her husband while her son was staying with her. However,her son is frequently in Mainland China,thus was not at home when the accident happened.

Landed on the car,freaked out the car mechanics

Information from the scene shows,it was raining frequently for the past few days. The rain water remained unhandled on the roop balcony of the apartment. About 9AM in the morning yesterday,the deceased decided to clear the water and repair the leakage on the balcony. She was wearing a pair of slippers and brought brooms and trash bags while climbing onto the roof. While she was clearing the rubbish,she suddenly fell downstairs. The shop downstairs is a car garage. A car was parked just outside the shop. The deceased coincidently landed at the back of the car and bounced onto the ground. A loud noise was heard during the process. The 2 mechanics witnessed the whole accident and was very shock and freaked out. They called the police immediately.

Still holding the broom at her hand

The deceased was pronounced dead on the spot after the paramedics arrived. Police have found a broken broom at the scene,the deceased was still holding the other half of the broom. The police found the another part of the broken broom at the roof balcony of the apartment. They also found 1 slippers and a rubbish basket. A television antenna was found at the corner. Initial investigations suspects that the deceased was being tripped by the television antenna while moving on the roof.

After the deceased's daughter learnt about the accident,she arrived to the scene with her husband to identify the dead. She cried pitifully afterwards.
