Translated and edited by: R.E.D @ http://asianuniverse.net/forums/ ![]() Lee Siu Nam started donating blood at the age of 18 against his parents advice, and has donated blood 450 times ever since, making him the most blood donator in Hong Kong. However, he thinks it is good to help others, he doesn't think much of it. His son just turned 16, under his father's influence has also joined in to donate blood. 45 year old Lee works in the insurance industry, he always considers "donating blood" is a blessing. When he was 18, he worked into a donation centre in the Central to give blood for the first time, since then, he has never stopped. He told reporter that people in the last generation thought by giving blood, you lost you own blood which is not true. Each time he goes to the Red Cross to give blood, he always takes his son along. That is why his son is also influenced by him, and wanted to continue to help other people by donating his blood. The Red Cross held its presentation ceremony yesterday in recognition of more than 800 blood donators who have given blood over 50 times. Lee and another donator gave the most, 450 time in all.
