Deadly Murder at Aberdeen - Hong Kong

Pokfulam Village Aberdeen

A complicated and confusing murder incident nicknamed "One Blade Murder" has happened at Pokfulam village at Aberdeen District in Hong Kong yesterday. A shareholder of an architecture company which as being described as a "very good person" was at his office chatting on the phone with his buisness partner yesterday. Within 1 hours after the phone conversation,he was suddenly being murdered by someone with a 10 inch long blade. The blade was directly being pierced into his heart. The victim had fallen on the floor with a pool of blood around him. He was later being found by his worker which shared the same date of birthday with him. His death was certified after being sent to the hospital.

The police later found the murder weapon,and considered the case suspicious. They had temoprarily classified the case as [ Suspicious Murder ] and have handed the case over to the West District's Heavy Crime Unit for further investigations.

10 inch long blade was found

The victim was named Li Sui Cheung (46 years old) , nicknamed (wolfie) , (Little Cheung) left his residence alone at Pokfulam village during the time of about 8am yesterday morning. After he went to have his breakfast at a canteen in the village,he went for work in his 2 storey office. At about 10.15am,a worker in the company,surnamed 'Au' (46 years old) came back from outdoors and was frightened when he sees his boss lying in a pool of blood at the washroom. Beside him was a blade measuring 10 inches. 'Au' was very scared and called the police immediately,he also called the other workers which was working outside back to the company.



The police rushed to the murder scene almost immediately. When they arrived they saw the victim,with the injury at his left chest already being moved to the resting lounge by the workers. The medics which arrived moments later transported him to the hospital,and was pronounced dead afterwards. During the initial autopsy by the forensics,they found out that the blade had directly pierced through the victim's heart by 2 and a half inches. It was believed that the victim was killed with a single strike. The police found no evidence that the victim have fought or strugged.

As it is a serious case,the heavy crime unit and staffs from the forensic department was at the scene looking for evidence. They sealed the scene and brought everything suspicious back with them for investigation.

Not being murdered for money

The information discloses,because of the recent bad weather that affected the works of his workers.The victim have to pay the worker's wages from his own pocket,the victim was once very troubled because of that. The police investigated and found out that he does not have financial problems. It was even more mysterious to have found out that the victim's money in his pocket when he was being killed was not stolen by the murderer. About $40,000 of Hong Kong dollars and RMB was found in his pocket. The police ruled out the possibility that he was being murdered for money.

The scene of the incident was very small and narrow,apart from the pool of blood on the floor,no blood stains and palm prints were found on the walls. Its different from past cases of murder.

Not Suicide

Although the victim has got high cholestrol and high blood pressure and is on long term medication,it is not a serious illness which will lead to suicide. 1 hours before he died,he was still chatting on the phone with his buisness partner. His partner told the police that he did not behave strange while chatting on the phone.

Because this is a almost clueless case,the police described it as strange and mysterious and classified it as a case of [Suspicious Murder]. The Heavy Crime Unit from West district have taken over the investigations of the case.

At about 5pm in the noon,the family members of the dead invited a priest to the scene of murder to perform rituals. The ritual lasted for about 20 minutes. The victim's mother has just been hospitalised recently,when she learnt that her son had died,she can't accept the shock and cried painfully.
