10 counts of fake document charges

The Cathay Pacific Airways Cabin Attendent which was being sued for using fake medical certificate to apply paid leave earlier have aknowledged her 10 counts of charges at using fake documents yesterday. After about 3 weeks of proceeds,the judge sentenced her to 240 hours of Community service order with immediate effect.

Pleaded for leniency

The accused,Miss Lau Siu Mun (34 years old) have gave the judge her letter of intercede and expressed that she is willing to compensate to her airline company. As Lau's reforming report is positive and pleaded for leniency,the judge decided to sentence her for Community service order. Lau thanked the judge for his leniency after her sentence was announced.

Cathay does not need her to compensate

The judge had also earlier ordered Miss Lau to compensate her company for the loss. After calculations by the plaintiff, she needs to compensate $90,000HKD to Cathay Pacific. As Cathay Pacific decided not to look into the case of compensation,the judge withdrew his order but grant Cathay Pacific the right to demand the compensation from her by court case again anytime.
