Ady An in Drama Version of <A Terracota Warrior>

Ady An will be starring in Gordon Chan's drama version of <A Terracota Warrior>. 20 years ago, Gong Li starred in the movie version of <A Terracota Warrior>; the drama version will star Ady An as the female lead, Dong Er. Ady An said that she had always regarded Gong Li and Zhang Yi Mou as her idols, and is more excited than nervous to be able to act in her idols' classic movie. The male lead, Qing Shi Huang (the Emperor) will be played by Gallen Lo.

Gordon Chan expressed that <A Terracota Warrior> would employ extremely unconventional shooting techniques; the drama would include many panoramic scenes in the style of <Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark> and <The Mummy 3> to show the meandering terracota army and the mausoleum of the Qin Emperor. Besides retaining the original story of the male and female lead meeting in 3 different dimensions, and some classic parts such as falling in love, the section on the present and the side plots will be further developed, integrating all the elements of conspiracy, treasure, action and revenge.

Note: This is a mainland China series.
