6th grader on ‘National Talk Show Hello’ strongly believes that the world will end soon

On the March 12th episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘National Talk Show Hello‘, a teenaged girl named Cho Yerim participated on the show and expressed her worry over her younger sister, Yulbi.

‘National Talk Show Hello’ is a program where viewers can apply for the show with various concerns or worries they have, and the audience votes whether their concern or worry is worth worrying over.

After watching an online video about Nostradamus three years ago, her sister Yulbi has since been obsessed with the end of the world and strongly believes that the world will end on December 21, 2012.

Yerim explained, “She always says ‘either way, we’re all gonna die anyway’ and has been living without any thoughts about her future.

When the MC’s told her that she should be preparing to enter middle school, Yulbi replied, “There won’t be a time when I enter middle school, so I don’t have to prepare for it.” She continued, “If you look at the Mayan calendar, the changes in the U.S. stock market, and the natural disasters, it all comes to a conclusion that the world will end on December 21st.

It turns out that the 6th grader even tried to convince all of her friends by saying, “The world’s gonna end. You’re gonna die too,” but she was only able to convince her friend living next door, causing viewers to laugh.

Their grandmother, who also appeared on the show, hilariously commented, “I’ve been living over 80 years, but the world has never ended. Quit talking nonsense.
