2PM’s time is up

7 member boyband 2PM will be receiving special training to strengthen their position in Korea's popular music for 2009.

Starting from January, 2PM will hold 1-2 performances a month and will be receiving on-scene training. A person working in 2PM's agency JYPE, said that after they held the opening stage for "JYP's 'The Bad Party2-One Night Stand' they could see that 2PM had a lack of appeal to the audience and that "This year, to build their energy, we will mainly put them in small performances."

2PM started their activities with their debut song '10 out of 10' but at that time, it was not as good as expected and was rated disappointing. Their skills were great considering they sang live while dancing vigorously but their popularity within the public was a bit lacking compared to their initial goal.

A JYP official stated that "JYP also pointed out that 2PM's biggest down point is lack of experience" and that "Like singer Lim Jeong Hee who built up experience through street performances, we hope that 2PM will learn a lot by coming in contact with the audience"

In the past 2PM held a guerrilla concert in Seoul SamSungDong Piano factory. JYP officials say that "The performances can be guerrilla concerts like before or will be a performance held in small theaters."

2PM is planning to release their second album/single early this year and continue their activities that started last year.
