11 year old girl and two 18 year old man being trail in court for housebreaking and robbery

A girl,young as the age of 11 have robbed from a man from the internet with the help of two 18 years old jobless teenagers. The team of 3 have also used different tactics to break into houses to commit burglary.

All 3 criminals have admitted and plead guilty of their crimes at the WanChai District Court. The judge pointed,for the good interest of the public,the two 18 year old males whom has many past records will need to be seperated from the society for a period of time. The males were heavily sentenced for a jail period of 5 years.

Both males were repeated offenders

When reading the sentence,the Judge,Lee Shuk-Lan states that the 2 males,named Leung Mao Chung and Poon Ming have got 16 and 8 criminal records respectively. Most of the past offences were related to thef and robberies ; the both males have been sent to juvenile prisons and served the community service order before.

The judge continues. She said that the court have tried to use different methods to give the both males a change to start anew,however,it seems that they won't learn and continue to commit crimes. Hence,the court have decided that there is a need to give heavier sentences with the hope that they will change for the better in future.

The judge expressed that to protect the public from further harm,such offenders whom have commited multiple offences should be seperated from the society for a period of time. Immediate jail is the most appopriate punishment.

Underaged girl's custody was granted to child home for reforming

The girl,whom had commited crimes with the 2 males have went online in the internet chatrooms to entice and lure a male victim out to the real world for a meeting. After the male victim had came out to meet the girl,her male accomplices have used violence to capture him and have robbed all of his valuables,leaving nothing. The Judge expressed that it is obvious that the whole operation involving the 11 years old girl was well planned and executed. The case which the 11 year old girl was involved was classified as a serious case,the 2 males were being sentenced to 5 years immediate prisonment while the girl will be seperated from her parents,with her custody granted to a child's home. The sentences of other charges of house burglary will be postponed to the next court hearing at 13th August.

House Burglary

The 3 criminals have used different tactics and methods to break into civillian homes during the date of 26th January to 14th March. They have stolen cash,cellphones and jewelleries from 7 victims. The total amount stolen was $33,000 Hong Kong Dollars. The 3 have earlier acknowledged their offences of burglary,thef,robbery and selling stolen goods. The total counts of charges for the 3 person's crimes amounted 8.

Seduces man out and robbed him

The details of the case revealed that during 14th of March 2008,11 year old girl was at the internet chatrooms with the name of "Bing Bing" (冰冰). She have chatted with an 27 years old male,surnamed "Tong" and have invited him out to her apartment in Cheung Sha Wan. Tong arrived at the roof balcony of the apartment,when suddenly 2 males closed the door and prevented him from escaping. The 2 males and the 11 year old girl have kicked and punched Tong,and tied him on the legs and hands using strong adhesive tapes. The 3 have stolen his cellphone,cash and asked passwords for his ATM card,before taking it away from him too.
